Fabulous Friday and Freezing Fibro

Wow... I am so glad it's finally Friday!!! This has been a long week of craziness. I'm glad it's almost over!

It's amazing how one evening (last night) seems so odd just because we didn't have Internet or phone access the entire evening. Imagine this... I got a lot done around the house instead! Hmmm... whoda thunk?

For today's Fabulous Friday sharing, I'm so excited to share this wonderful tutorial for a zippered pouch. Click here for all the details. Now that I'm learning how to sew, and I think I have an idea of how to do this, I'm super excited to give this a try sometime! Thank you Cindy!!

Please keep my wonderful hubster in your prayers. He went to convenient care last night, which turned out to be a really good thing... just in the sense that he hasn't had much luck with good doctors, and he found a great doc there who recommended another doc who will hopefully turn out great! They are doing more tests this morning so we don't know anything yet. Please pray for him. I won't say anything more than that, but I do appreciate your prayers.

On a weather note, right now it is freezzzzzzing here in Chicagoland! Where I'm at, it's reading at -20 degrees. Brrrrrr. And yep, you guessed it... major fibro flare-ups as a result. Wooooooooo it hurtsssss bad. Yesterday was terrible, and so far today is too. I can barely walk without just wanting to moan and groan. But my buddy over at My Life with Fibro reminds us to focus on the positives and what we can do, despite this frigid weather. Thank you K8!!

I'm thinking right now I'd love to be back at home, curled up by the fire (well, as curled up as one can get with fibro and being overweight... it's probably not the same version you'd think of as "curled up"), with a nice cup of hot chocolate and a good book.

But alas, I will make the very most out of the day the Lord has given to me. This is the day the Lord has made, after all. I will rejoice and be glad in it! Even if that means freezing my tail off and feeling like I want to die from all the pain! Rejoice... rejoice... rejoice....
