Happy Sweetest Day

I admit, I know Sweetest Day is seemingly a bit of a "Hallmark holiday" as some people like to affectionately call it (including my hubster). But I like it anyway. It's a good excuse for romance, which I simply love.

I am suchhhhh a romantic! I go ga-ga over it. I need a certain amount of it or I feel...neglected. I get grumpy. I get frustrated.

Trust me, it ain't pretty.

My wonderful, loving hubster surprised me tonight with some delightful red roses, of which I went... you guessed it...

ga-ga

Despite my knowing it was Sweetest Day tomorrow (Sat 10/17), I was just sure my hubster wouldn't know. Or remember. Or do anything if he did.

But thankfully... he did. :) And they are beautiful!

And I'm still giddy from it all. What a blessing of a hubby I have!!!! :)
