It starts with a half day of work, of which I hope to get lots done! Then at noon we leave for our work's company picnic. For at least 4 or 5 years, I was the one in charge of it... planning, organizing, ordering food, etc. Last year was the first year I didn't and it was a delight!! Today I'm also looking forward to relaxing, enjoying the company of my many wonderful coworkers and their families, and eating awesome food. Hubby is joining me this year (he wasn't able to last year) so that makes it even more exciting for me. I'm really looking forward to it!
After that, we will pick up my Aunt from Chicago at a local train station and take off toward my hometown. I get to see my mom, dad, brother, sis-in-law, nieces, best friend and her kids, grandpa, and hopefully some aunts/uncles/cousins. I'm very excited, but I know it's going to go way too fast, so I'm gearing up for a fun whirlwind of a weekend!

Looks like you all had a wonderful time :) Hope this year's picnic won't trigger a fibro flare and you can just enjoy it after all the work you've put in. Have a great time with your family.
