I think I might gag if I have to sit through another Lyrica commercial on TV.
Seriously. They're so fake. So uppity.
The best line is "Lyrica is not for everyone." Um, yeah. Definitely not for everyone.
Maybe that's why everyone I've talked to hated it when they were on it. And those it does work for it makes them so drowsy or out of it they can't do anything outside the house.
The commercial is lame. Don't pay attention to it. It doesn't give a realistic view of Fibromyalgia at all.
The only plus side is that it's spreading the word about Fibromyalgia. The end.
Now back to regularly scheduled television programming. Thanks.

I have to make a confession... when I first read your post I thought you were talking about Lycra (we don't get those commercials here). And yep Lycra is definitely not for everyone. In fact, why would anyone want it in the first place? It's not the 80s anymore!
In my defence, I'm a tad tired...ok, I'll run away and hide now ;)
Hi Rochelle, I am with you and I get tired of everyone asking me, have you tried Lyrica. What they don't know it I have discussed it with my doctors and they are not recommending it for me due to side effects..
Yes, those ads just irritate me even more!
hugs
Barb
I really hate that now people who know nothing about fibromyalgia always say "oh you should just take Lyrica" like how dare I still be sick with such a wonder drug around?
Oh my gosh Lynda, forgive me but your comment did get me a little confused, lol! ;)
I'm with you Barb & Sarakastic, I'm tired of being asked too like they think it's some miracle drug because of the stupid commercials that give it some artificial good light. Gah! I've tried it. It made me worse. Not everything is as good as it's cracked up to be!! Yes how dare we still be sick...sooo frustrating!
