Growing up, my dad's mom started to develop Alzheimer's shortly after she turned 60.
I was maybe 12 or 13 when it really started coming out, if I remember correctly. She had always been amazing at making sweet tea.
But as she got more and more forgetful...
...the more and more she'd forget that she'd already added sugar.
And then she would add more and more.
and more.
Now I cannot drink tea without it being super sweet.
