Baby Has Arrived!

At 8:18 p.m. on Thursday, June 20th, our son Elijah David M entered the world! He weighed in at 7 lbs, 3 oz, and measured 20.25 inches long. He has a dark head of hair, his dad's ears, and his mom's nose. He's adorable and yes, already has us totally in love!!

He arrived after 26 hours of an induction process, 7-8 hours of active labor, and an unplanned c-section. (More to come later.) Mother is doing well, but baby has to spend some time in the NICU, which is of course really hard for us! He's been having a little trouble breathing, not critical but still enough that they need to closely monitor his oxygen levels. Please be praying that his breathing stabilizes and that he will be okay!
