Fibromyalgia After Pregnancy

People said my Fibro might go into remission during pregnancy.

It did not.

People said my Fibro might lessen during pregnancy.

It did not.

People said my Fibro might go away after pregnancy.

It did not.

It's still very much ever-prevalent. Just in different ways as my body adjusts to holding and carrying a baby, bouncing and rocking a baby, postpartum body adjustments, changes in hormones, and all the other things that come along with being a new mom.

It's been a really tough week with the Fibromyalgia really rearing its ugly head.

But you just smile the best you can and go on if you're able. I've been able to, though there have been a couple of days at home where the pain was pretty unbearable and the fatigue made parenting even more challenging.

The clincher is I know I'm not alone in this fight, and I know that God is giving me the grace and strength I need to face each new day.

I'll just keep trying to take it as it comes.

And trying to give God the glory in the hard, and the good. Very much appreciated THIS today.
