Things I Like Tuesday

Had a horrible afternoon/evening yesterday. Cried my eyes out. Completely melted down.

Had a horrible commute to work this morning. Seriously so tired of bad drivers. And I love the sun. But I hate sun delays. Really? Can we just buy some sunglasses, use our car's visor {provided for us from the generosity of car makers}, and put the petal to the metal?

Or at least move over and get out of my way?

Low on patience. Feeling very discouraged. Badly needing compliments. Needing a pick-me-up.

I know, so pathetic. Like, what am I, 5?!

I feel so lame. So stupid. So small. So frustrated.

Sooo... instead of allowing myself to sulk around and be completely idiotic, I am focusing as much as possible on all the positives in my life today.

1) I'm staring at chocolate. A lot of chocolate. Samples galore. It's overly tempting. And oh so yummy. Heehee. What a cheerer-upper! :) I just love that I'm the person in charge of all of our work's Christmas cards and candy again this year. Mmmm....

2) I'm an aunt again! Combining all of both of our families Ashdyn Paul, born yesterday at 1:41 p.m. weighing 8 lbs 2 oz and was 21 inches long, is #25! We are so happy for Tim's brother Paul and his sis-in-law Becca and this new little one! This is #4 for them and the other 3 are all girls. We are so excited for them and can't wait to see what's in store for them with this little guy! We can't wait to meet him!

3) I have ridiculously funny friends who also find amazing ways to stay positive, including life lessons learned via archery. Sherah is hilariously awesome, and I'm so thankful to have her in my life!

4) I'm visiting one of my best friends today at lunch. And her insanely adorable son who is 10 weeks old today. I'm sure you have no idea who I'm talking about and have never seen his picture before.

5) One of my favorite Christian music bands of all time disappeared off radar for a couple of years. They came back recently and sent out a newsletter about why they'd been gone, all they'd been through {including babies and a MS diagnosis for the lead singer}... and then today I get another newsletter update that I didn't expect. Their new album has just released! Wow, I'm sooo excited!!! It took about 2 seconds to add that to my Amazon Wish List. I cannot wait to hear it!!!!!!! Welcome back dear FFH. You were sorely missed!

Happy Tuesday! Think positive!

FFH is one of my favorite groups!!! I'm going to definitely check that out.

My grandpa told me after I'd had my third that if I had another child I'd probably have a girl, because he'd just read in the Sunday paper that morning that statistics showed that if you have four children, you usually have three of one and one of the other, so that's what Tim's brother did.

I of course messed with the statistics and have halfsies. My great-grandma did too, so maybe I was just following in her footsteps because I loved her so much and she loved me so much (I was her favorite and I can say that here because I don't think anyone in my family will see it!). She died on the day the Challenger crashed and after I'd been married just over half a year.

You should eat a little chocolate at least.

Sometimes I feel 5 too. Don't feel bad. I blame it on PMS.

Blessings to you!

Rochelle..you sound so tired! You need time off to catch up and feel like you are ready to take on the world again. I have the same type of days. Now we are entering into that special time of year. If you are like me, you try to do too much. Take care of yourself and YES have chocolate!
