The moment we pulled into the driveway, my heart did a flip-flop. I remember how strange we felt as we walked up to the front door and turned the key.
When the door opened to a space of empty-ness.
When it finally hit us that we were home. This was ours.
Something of our very own. Wow.
As we started the two weeks of painting, cleaning, and planning where things would go, things fell into place and we were amazed. And very, very thankful.
8 years. Homeowners.
It still feels a bit surreal.
