More Home Renovations

After 9 years without a bathroom fan, I'm not kidding when I say I was going ballistic... worries of mold and mildew growth in our enclosed bathroom were starting to give me the eebie jeebies.

There is a window in the shower {which I loathe given that our neighbors are super close}, so Tim leaves the window open when he showers so the fresh air helps keep the air circulating and hopefully keeps the mold away.

I can't do it. Have my neighbors possibly hear me in the shower. Ew.

Finally we have a bathroom fan. I'm so relieved. It doesn't quite work the way I want it to, but it's a huge relief to have the thing in there!

And just take a look at Tim's brother's pics of it all. Wow, I can't believe wires were just taped together behind our outlet. Awesome.

Welcome to our attic. I've never been up there. It doesn't look like a pretty sight.

Woot woot!!

Here's to a better functioning bathroom. :)

Good for you! You might end up with a whole bathroom restoration if you had not done this. Mold and mildew are not very friendly microbes. Prevention is better than cure, as always. By doing this, you’ve cancelled their invitations to enter your home. :)s

Eeesh, was that a fire hazard that way? So amateur, huh?

That’s true. Just the thought of mold can really give every home owner the creeps. It’s a good thing you added a ventilation fan in your bathroom. Having a proper ventilation system is really one of the best solutions to prevent mold from growing, because it helps the air circulate equally to the entire room. Just make sure to clean it regularly, so you can use it for years to come.
