By the way, on a side note... my chiropractor doesn't think I had a virus. I just had something weird going on inside of my body, or it could have been bacteria picked up from food. Since I haven't felt right since Rhode Island and that wasn't a great place to visit anyway, I'm just blaming it on that state! ;) Despite sitting in 40 minutes of bumper-to-bumper traffic on my way to see him last night, it was a good visit to the chiro. He worked on my stomach and small intestine for 40 minutes. I've been feeling better. I'm still not 100% though. When I felt so sick on Saturday, it turns out it was just whatever was left in my system, but after that I could see a lot of improvement. So the treatment is working. I'm thankful for that. I'm definitely on the mend, and so appreciate this chiropractor for all that he does! But I admit 3 hours on the road yesterday left me grumpy and impatient by the end of it. I'm so exhausted.
Okay on to the positives! I promise!
1-6.
I'm blessed with amazing friends and this is my tribute to them. I love all of my friends so dearly. But you all know there are certain friends you just hit it off with, understand more, can be yourself with more, friends who don't let you get too hard on yourself, and can make you laugh so hard you think you might pass out. Friends who aspire you to be more like Christ in everything you do. I love these 6 friends very dearly. Plus I had pictures on hand of these friends! ;) So nobody feel left out!!! I love you all DEEPLY!!

Tim: my hubby is one of my very best friends. We are so blessed. Tim, you are the love of my life, my everything after God, you are the one and only for me, and despite our arguments I love you more with each passing day. I can't wait to see what the next 8 years has ahead of us. I know we've had some tough roads, but having you beside me will always be the best.

Mom: My mommy is the best, and one of my closest friends. I admire her more than any other person in my life. She is amazing. I love her to death. She is so special. I hardly know what to say. She's the greatest.

Oh dear, sweet Dana, you've helped me through so much! You are one wise and funny chick! I feel so blessed to have worked with you for a year and a half, and am awed by the fact that you put up with me now as your boss as a freelancer. You are a terrific writer and editor! You help me so much, personally and at work. You know just how to tickle my funny bone. And you introduced me to Red Robin. Yummm.
Sheryl, sweet Sheryl, you and I hit it off right from the bat. I feel so blessed that I got to work and laugh along with you for 8 months. You continue to be one of my closest friends despite your trek to the east coast. I still don't think I've ever laughed as hard as I laughed with you about "you know what". We had some good times, didn't we?! Oh yeah, and I miss my nieces - bring them back from New York anytime so I can spoil them (aka, your dogs). And you introduced me to Panda. Nothing could be sweeter than that.
Monica, my MonMon. I admire you so much. You have a deeper faith than most people I've ever known. Your acknowledgment and passion of the truths of Scripture inspire me to love God more, and dig deeper into his Word. God is so real to you, even in the tiniest of details, and I just love hearing you talk about him! I know you would point to God for all the glory, not to yourself. But, I just think you are one of the greatest people I've ever gotten the chance to know. I love working with you, sewing with you, eating lunch together out or at your place, laughing hysterically with you, traveling with you because you are such a calm traveler, shopping with you, arguing with you because I know despite our differences you will never give up on me or let me get away with being stupid, and I just plain love you girl. You never cease to amaze me. You help relax me, keep me straight, and make me laugh nearly every day. You inspire me to be a better, not-so-down-in-the-dumbs person! You don't let me feel sorry for myself, and I deeply appreciate and respect you.
Tracie, my Trac: you are practically my sister. Words couldn't even begin to describe how much you mean to me. We can not talk for months, but still pick up right where we left off. I can be myself so much with you and it doesn't matter. We are so similar and yet so different. Meeting you in middle school was one of the greatest things to have ever happened to me. I think of you just like what I'd imagine thinking of a sister. We have our moments, but I sure do love you no matter what! You are one of the greatest and best gifts God has ever given to me. I love you so much sis!
To all my other dear friends: I'll write tributes to you another Tuesday! ;)
Love to all my dear friends on this Things I Like Tuesday!

I've been enjoying your "things I like Tuesdays" posts :) I appreciate how even when you're feeling absolutely miserable, you're still putting effort into focusing on and being thankful for the positives.
You've inspired me, and once I have more strength, I think I'll try doing my own :)
Hope you're able to kick this icky stomach thing for good!
Ahhh thanks Melody! :) I have to admit I stole the idea from Monica, though. She's always so wonderfully positive and keeps such a strong outlook, I couldn't help but want the same! I'm glad it's spreading its roots even further. :) I hope you feel better soon! I'm finally starting to feel like a halfway normal person again. (Although of course, you understand when I say normal, that's the new "normal" to us with fibro.)
Thanks for your encouragement. :)
