5 Months

Elijah is 5 months {as of last Wed, oy where does the time go?!}!!

Figuring out his hands and feet.

Loves talking/cooing.

Laughing more and more.
Reaching and grabbing at things more.
Rolling constantly now.
Keeping us on our toes!

Pretty content and happy, but man he can be serious!!

We can do everything in the world (like we are here...) and nothing, no smiles.

Pretty sure he got stuck with crazy parents. 

Haha, there you go buddy!! Laughing at daddy's antics! 

He loves to stick out his tongue and we love it too.

He's figuring it out and loves to imitate the sounds we're making with our mouths.

Someday this will be considered rude and we'll stop it. For now, it's fun to watch him figuring it out.

He's done with his pacifier. Only ever needs it if he's mega upset or won't fall asleep to anything else.

Teething. Like crazy. Two teeth broke through in the front bottom. 

He loves to chomp on our fingers so you can imagine how fun this is with teeth.

He's a mover and a shaker. He still moves more than any other time when we put him on the changing table. He LOVES looking up at his stuffed animals over his head and he just kicks and kicks and kicks and it is so. funny.

Then there's that typical boy fun... 

... he sure does love his daddy! 

Happy 5 months Elijah! We cannot believe you're already so big! You've got a hold on our hearts like nothing we ever could have imagined. You drain us more than we thought possible, and we wouldn't change anything. We marvel at you constantly. We are truly in love and soaking in every moment that we can!
